You are hereby summoned to an ordinary meeting of the Environment and Facilities (E&F) Committee which is to be held on Thursday 19 June 2025 at 7pm in the Council Chamber, Municipal Offices, Marcus Hill, Newquay to transact the business contained in the attached agenda and associated papers.

    To receive nominations and vote for the Election of Chairman for the 2025-26 Civic Year.

    To discuss and make any decisions in regards to the Polwhele Permaculture Garden.

    To receive, note and consider any recommendations contained within the report.

    [E04] Reduce Single-Use Plastics - Encourage sustainable practices and reduce plastic waste.
    [E05] Public Education on Ecology - Educate the public on ecological benefits and sustainability efforts.


    To discuss and make any recommendations from the Working Party.

    [E06] Work Towards Carbon Neutrality - Continue efforts to make the town carbon neutral.
    To agree Terms of Reference for the establishment of a working party who will be responsible for reporting as and when there is a need for new procedures/review of policy.

    [C13] Ensure Toilet Accessibility - Maintain clean, safe public toilets and increase signposts to them.
    [Q01] Optimise Revenue Ethically - Generate income sustainably across council estates.
