To receive and note the minutes of the Governance and Resources committee.

RESOLVED unanimously to recommend to Full Council an additional check of an applicant’s safeguarding policy to the Grants Policy where applicants either work with or are proposing activity that will involve working with vulnerable adults and children. The grants application form will include additional questions on this.

To receive and note the minutes of the Community and Tourism committee.

RESOLVED unanimously recommend to Full Council a change to the Terms if Reference of removing TRO’s and objective 3.16 to read ‘Identity issues and liaise with Cornwall council regarding implementation of Public Space Protection Orders and other such local schemes.

To receive and note the minutes of the Planning and Licensing committee.

RESOLVED unanimously to RECOMMEND TO FULL COUNCIL an amendment to the terms of reference of the planning committee to include "Identify issues and liaise with CC regarding implementation of Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) and other parking proposals”.

RESOLVED unanimously to RECOMMEND to Full Council to Proceed with surf statue consultation focused on the Killacourt as the identified location

RESOLVED unanimously to recommend a release of up to £8000 from the public conveniences EMR to undertake a reconfiguration of the Watergate Bay toilet facility and to give delegated authority to the public conveniences WP and the Facilities Manager to handle the procurement exercise

To receive reports from members who sit on outside bodies as well as issues and motions received, in line with Standing Order 9B, from members in relation to Newquay Town Council.

Discussions under this item are for information only unless specifically listed on the agenda for a decision.

Any concerns being raised or requests for information should be communicated to the Town Clerk as soon as possible and in good time before the meeting, to ensure they have been afforded the time to look into the matter. Failure to do this is likely to result in the Town Clerk having to note the matter and responding at a later date.

That Newquay Town Council support and endorse the naming of the current and future route of A392 between The Goldings and Trevemper as 'Platinum Way' to mark Queen Elizabeth the Second’s Platinum Jubilee.
