Cormac on behalf of Cornwall Council is inviting comments on a proposal to introduce new speed limits and waiting restrictions in Nansledan, Newquay.
Nansledan is being developed to include new housing developments along with offices, green open spaces and a new high street with a wide range of local shops. This project also includes the completion of a Newquay strategic Link facilitating connectivity across town.
The current proposal consists of the introduction of two bus stops, two loading bays, several limited waiting bays and sections of No waiting at any time restrictions.
The Newquay Strategic route scheme will connect the A3092 to the A3058 and Trevenson Road, with a considerable increase in vehicle and pedestrian movement within the Nansledan development. The proposal therefore includes also the implementation of new 20mph and 30mph speed limits across Nansledan and the two new link roads.
