You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of the Planning & Licensing Committee which is to be held on Wednesday 11 September 2024 at 6pm in the Council Chambers, Municipal Offices, Marcus Hill, Newquay for transacting the business on the agenda below.

    To take as read and confirm as accurate the minutes of the meetings held on:

    • 28 August 2024 (draft minutes to be added)

    To discuss or note any matters arising from the minutes under item 4.

    To receive previously notified public questions, followed by verbal questions (if technologically possible) from attending electors of Newquay.

    In line with Standing Order 3(e), members of the public may make representations, answer questions and give evidence at a meeting which they are entitled to attend in respect of the business on the agenda of the meeting.

    Description of trading vehicle****The trading unit is built on a 7 x 2.5 metre chassis and comprises a box van measuring 5 x 2.5 metres
    Where the vehicle, stall or container will be stored when not in use:- ‘Pendown Business Park, Pendown Cross, Near Truro TR4 9NE.
    Proposed Trading months – from the grant of Consent to 31 December 2024
    Proposed trading days of the week – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
    Proposed trading times –08:00 – 21:00
    Articles applied for – The menu will consist of:
    ● Cooked rice dishes in the style of paella, including seafood, meat, and vegetarian options.
    ● Spanish omelette with sauces and garnishes, such as salads and other accompaniments.
    ● Patatas Bravas.
    ● Pork crackling.
    ● Toasted Cornish sardines.
    Some items may change depending on demand and seasonality.
    In the mornings, I will offer churros with chocolate and healthy bowls containing cereals, fruits, and yoghurt.
