You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of the Planning & Licensing Committee which is to be held on Wednesday 25 October 2023 at 6pm in the Council Chambers, Municipal Offices, Marcus Hill, Newquay for transacting the business on the agenda below.



Please Note: There will be a presentation to the Town Council regarding the Full Planning Application for the Redevelopment of the former Tregurrian Hotel site, along with wider infrastructure and landscaping works - Land at Watergate Bay.
The presentation commences at 17:30 in the Council Chamber

    iv. PA23/06897 - Amended Plans (information item) -On 13 September 2023 the Committee raised no objection to the following application


    v. PA23/06897 | Convert existing garage with the addition above of first-floor extension for living space | 1 Coronation Way Newquay Cornwall TR7 3JL
    The Case Officer has now reported that the proposed flat-roofed two-storey side extension was not considered appropriate. Following further discussions, a revised, pitched roof design, is considered to resolve the perceived detrimental impact the original roof form would have had on the character and appearance of the area. (PLEASE NOTE - HTIS APPLICATION WAS APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS ON 18/10/2023)
